Lebanese designer Dagher’s fascination with clothes began with her interest in dressmaking. She was still a teenager then. She first started sketching her designs on her copybook. Recognizing that fashion is the path she should take. Dagher decided to go the capital Beirut to take styling courses. She did this while taking classes in psychology.
She eventually worked with different fashion houses to hone her craft.
Slow but definitely getting there, she opened her shop in 2001. Dagher was in the fashion business and building her brand. Ready-to -wear or haute couture her artistic approach is displayed. It is demonstrated on her ornate and meticulous pieces. She got the attention of the Lebanese community.
Dagher’s evening dresses, gowns, and bridal collections stood out. It is because of her dramatic old Hollywood flair. Famous personalities not only from the country but from across the globe got interested. They all attended her runway shows.
After a decade she found herself presenting her collections in New York’s fashion week. This was followed by stints in Paris in 2012 and Italy in 2013. Mireille Dagher also has dressed many noted fashion and showbiz celebrities. And it includes names such as Guliana Rancic, Jeannie Mai, ans Paola Patton. Also on the list are Gabrielle Union and Brooke Burke.
Until today she receives international acclaim for her brilliant dress designs.
